American Mime Theatre is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented individual to work as a part-time Video Production Manager for the creation of a new digital class series. This individual will work closely with our Communications Director and Artistic Director throughout the process of developing and editing a multi-part virtual educational experience for movement artists.
QUALIFICATIONS
– Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere
– Proficiency with Microsoft Office – important
– Experience in videography for digital content creation
– Knowledge of lighting and sound and teleprompter techniques for digital media
– Ability to work independently in an organized, efficient, and self-motivated capacity
– Excellent project management skills
– Confidence initiating and completing projects without direct supervision
– Previous experience working in a performance medium preferred
– Previous experience creating digital classes and podcasts
This is a hybrid position, requiring some in-person work at our Manhattan studio, with some additional remote work.
– 10-20 hrs/week, depending on project needs to start
– $22-25/hr based on experience
