Constellation Theatre Company is seeking an enthusiastic and strategic fundraiser to become our full-time Development Manager. This individual will work with marketing, patron services, the board of directors, and executive leadership to create, execute, and supervise initiatives and campaigns that will help secure Constellation’s financial stability.
Strategic Planning
Collaborate with the Artistic and Managing Directors on institutional planning and fundraising campaigns from concept through execution. Develop organizational messaging, campaign language, and show copy for communications.
Fundraising
Cultivate relationships with major donors and funding prospects. Research funding opportunities, assist with grant writing and reporting, coordinate direct appeal and season mailings, and manage CRM reporting for targeted donor outreach. Regularly update Executive Leadership and the Board on fundraising progress.
Engagement and Communications
Coordinate company events, including opening nights, donor events, and board meetings. Build relationships with community members, board members, vendors, and service providers. Oversee public relations efforts and ensure deadlines are met.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of fundraising experience, preferably in nonprofit development. Strong communication, organizational, analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Experience with CRM systems (PatronManager/Salesforce preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
