Reporting Structure: The Literary Associate will report directly to the Associate Artist/Literary Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

Administrative and Clerical Functions: Assist mainly with the administrative and clerical functions of the literary department.

Oversight of Literary Interns: Manage the daily tasks and projects of literary interns, create and maintain their schedules.

Literary Database Maintenance: Maintain and upkeep the literary database, run reports, and handle email correspondence with playwrights and agents.

Documentation: Document play evaluations, play solicitation, and new play development.

Rehearsal Materials: Maintain and upkeep rehearsal materials and general library upkeep.

Office Skills: Daily use of Microsoft Office Suite Programs, scanning, filing, daily correspondence, and data entry.

Artistic Responsibilities:

New Play Development: Assist in the New Play Development process

Community Outreach:

FST Forums: Assist with FST Forums programs, schedule forum events, identify panel guests, and handle follow-up correspondence and scheduling appointments with community leaders and organizations.

Salary: $35,000 – $42,000
