Ensemble Conductor

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Conductor to lead two of our youth ensembles. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and dedicated music educator to join a well-established organization with a reputation for excellence in youth orchestral training. We are seeking applicants with extensive backgrounds and experience in music education and conducting, with particular experience and focus on working with young students.

In addition to selecting age-appropriate music and conducting weekly rehearsals, this position is required to conduct three concerts per year for each of the two ensembles. Please find more information on the job page on the Golden State Youth Orchestra website.
