Center Theater Manager
The Hartsville Community Center Building Commission is seeking an experienced, mission-driven leader to serve as Manager of the historic Center Theater located in downtown Hartsville, South Carolina.
This executive-level position provides leadership and oversight for theater operations, financial management, facility administration, staff supervision, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily operations of the Center Theater and assigned facilities
• Manage budgets, contracts, rentals, and financial reporting
• Supervise box office, part-time staff, contractors, and volunteers
• Coordinate performances, events, and facility scheduling
• Serve as primary liaison to artists, patrons, partners, and the Commission
• Support fundraising, grants, and audience development initiatives
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
• Five (5) to seven (7) years of arts administration, venue management, or related experience
• Demonstrated leadership in budgeting, facilities, and personnel supervision
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
