Salary: $85,000-$105,000 + benefits

Help Shape the Future of One of Mississippi’s Premier Cultural Institutions

The Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience (The MAX) is seeking an experienced fundraising leader to serve as its Director of Development. Reporting to the President + CEO, you’ll lead all philanthropic efforts, expand donor support, and help drive an ambitious initiative to generate approximately $1.5 million in new contributed revenue over the next three years while preparing the organization for future growth.

What You’ll Do
• Lead The MAX’s fundraising strategy.
• Build and steward relationships with major donors, foundations, corporations, and government funders.
• Partner with the President + CEO and Board of Directors to grow philanthropic support.
• Expand major gifts, grants, planned giving, endowment, and membership programs.
• Represent The MAX across Mississippi while building meaningful community partnerships.

What We’re Looking For
• Five or more years of fundraising experience with success securing major gifts.
• Proven relationship-building and communication skills.
• Experience with donor CRM systems.
• Passion for Mississippi’s arts, culture, and creative heritage.
