Our mission is "to inspire the human spirit though the arts".
We are looking for the first ever full-time development executive in the 101-year history of our organization to help fulfill our mission of “enriching the human spirit through the arts”. Our three main areas of responsibility are donor relations/sponsorships/grants, in that order of priority. The right candidate will have an affection for process and detail as a department needs to be built from scratch in terms of ideas, outreach, and implementation. We believe we are well situated with infrastructure and software. We are open to early career applicants looking for the next step up, but some experience in development is essential. Our workplace is remarkably supportive and cooperative, and we expect that among our new colleague’s virtues will be integrity, industriousness, positivity, and innovation. College degrees are welcome; the above-mentioned attributes are essential. Additionally, while we think of this position as an in-office job, the reality of the needs of individuals are always a consideration. As an arts and education organization, we would expect applicant to have a passion and a respect for these pursuits.
