The Associate, Research and Analytics is a cross-functional role that supports a wide range of organizational initiatives related to data transformation, partnerships and innovation, operations and logistics, and artistic programs. This position contributes to the successful implementation of new data systems and workflows, supports cross-departmental collaboration, and plays a key role in strengthening how YoungArts collects, manages, and activates information across its community.
Through research, documentation, project coordination, and administrative support, the Associate helps ensure alignment between departments, enhances organizational capacity, and supports efforts to improve how data is used to inform decision-making, storytelling, and long-term planning. The role requires strong attention to detail, comfort with evolving systems, and a collaborative approach to supporting multiple teams and priorities.
Direct Reporting:
The Associate, Research and Analytics reports to the Vice President, Finance and Operations through the initial phases of the data transformation initiative. Thereafter, this role will be reviewed to align reporting with business needs.
Essential and Other Responsibilities (perform other duties as assigned):
– Support the continued development of YoungArts Post, an alumni social media platform.
– Support in the creation and monitoring of data management systems for Artistic Programs, including payment systems, registration systems, and general data analytics systems.
– Provide seasonal support of Artistic Programs for contract, payment, invoice, and expense processes related to National YoungArts Week and Winner Labs.
Data Transformation & Systems Implementation
– Provide administrative and logistical support for the implementation of the organization-wide data transformation project.
– Track tasks, timelines, and deliverables across internal teams and external consultants.
– Support the development of internal documentation and training materials to ensure successful system onboarding and adoption.
– Assist with data entry, cleaning, and ongoing systems testing across new platforms.
Partnerships & Innovation
– Assist in research and data collection activities that support new initiatives and external storytelling.
– Help coordinate materials and deadlines for innovation and partnership-related projects across departments.
Operations, Logistics & Workflow Coordination
– Support contract, invoice, registration, and expense processing systems used across programs and operations.
– Provide logistical coordination support for cross-departmental events, meetings, and data-driven initiatives.
– Work with Finance and Operations to ensure consistency and accuracy in data tracking, workflow execution, and logistical processes.
Artistic Programs & Community Data
– Provide seasonal and event-based support for artist and alumni engagement, including data tracking, logistics, and communication support.
– Contribute to the maintenance and expansion of YoungArts Post and other digital platforms used to connect and understand the artist community.
– Participate in visualizing and organizing program-related data for internal and external use.
Safety Responsibilities: Adhere to all safety and security policies of the organization including those pertaining to physical safety and practices. Report any potential or actual violations to security and HR as appropriate.

– Experience with data systems, CRM tools, or project management software (e.g., Salesforce, Airtable, Asana) is preferred.
– Experience working in Microsoft Excel. Strong knowledge is preferred.
Education and/or Credentialing Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree.
– 3+ years of administrative experience in the arts, philanthropic, non-profit, or higher-education organization preferred.
– Experience beyond requirement will be considered in lieu of education requirements.
Working conditions, typical physical/mental demands: YoungArts physical campus and headquarters is located in Miami, FL. Work is performed in a hybrid (virtual and in-office) setting. Typical operations take place in an office environment and/or in an event/venue setting.
General working hours are 9:00 am– 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The nature of our work will sometimes require an adjustment to this schedule, including evenings and weekends. You will normally be advised in advance should your work schedule be adjusted.
