Vice President of Finance and Administration

The Grand Rapids Symphony seeks a full-time Vice President of Finance and Administration to join our team. Reporting to the President & CEO, this leadership position is responsible for overseeing both day-to-day and long-term strategic financial, administrative, and human resources functions of an $11MM 501c3 organization and $30MM foundation. This is an office-based professional position with some nights and weekends required around concerts and events.

Key Responsibilities
Finance
• Manages organization cash flow and working capital, including monthly projections.
• Oversees day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping operations; reviews general ledger for accuracy.
• Prepares financial reports, organizational budgets, and presentations.
• Leads annual budget process; collaborates with department heads to review all budget areas.
