The Manager of Individual Giving is an organized, tech-savvy and highly motivated individual with an eagerness to support The Washington Ballet in raising the funds required to further the organization’s mission and growth strategy, reporting to the Director of Development.
The Manager of Individual Giving supports the development department’s mission by helping to build and sustain longstanding relationships with the ballet’s supporters, including managing and implementing the annual operating plan related to annual giving. They provide oversight, and strategic direction in recommending, organizing, directing, and implementing activities and programs for annual giving; manage and maintain all gift, event, and donor data in the TWB’s Tessitura database; reconcile fundraising data with the finance department; coordinate the gift acknowledgement process; assist in general development administration and events; and attends all performances and events as a team representative.
