Self-Publishing Expert to publish our textbooks

FREE LANCE POSITION :The American Mime Theatre is seeking a Self-Publishing to Amazon Expert to help bring our founder’s archival books to the world. We have a collection of historical works from our founder and a newly evolved version currently in development that we want to publish on Amazon. We are looking for a skilled and experienced individual to manage the end-to-end self-publishing process.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and format archival books for Amazon’s self-publishing platform (e.g., Kindle Direct Publishing).
Assist with editing, layout design, and cover creation to meet Amazon’s formatting requirements.
Establish professional book listings, including metadata, descriptions, and keywords to optimize discoverability.
Ensure quality control throughout the publishing process.
Manage the new book project, ensuring timely and successful publication.
Provide guidance on pricing, royalties, and marketing strategies to maximize reach and revenue.
Requirements:
Proven experience with self-publishing on Amazon (KDP experience required).
Strong understanding of book formatting, layout design, and publishing standards.
Familiarity with creating professional, market-ready book covers.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Knowledge of metadata optimization and Amazon marketing tools is a plus.
Passion for the performing arts or literature is a bonus.
