REPORTS TO: General Manager
OBJECTIVE: Create, develop and execute marketing initiatives to increase ticket sales, donor base, corporate involvement, and student enrollment. Oversee all marketing and community relations activities to support subscriber relationships, audience and donor development, volunteer and corporate support.
HOURS: Full time EXEMPT. Office Hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Evening and Weekend hours as needed based on production schedule
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
• Create and implement comprehensive marketing strategy for Broadway & Children’s Theatre seasons, Reid Cabaret series, season subscription renewals, educational programs and branding.
• Plan and manage all paid advertising placements
• Manage advertising budgets for the full season; individual productions & education campaigns
• Collaborate directly with the director of development to:
• Solicit and develop corporate sponsorship program
• Develop audience and subscriber benefits
• Increase board member involvement
• Coordinate with education department for artist, student, and community outreach opportunities
• Coordinate with production department for press events, appearances, and content
• Maintain working relationships with key media outlets
• Research industry trends and adapt them to the performing arts model
• Ensure marketing and PR initiatives are diverse and support the mission of Casa Mañana to include everyone in the Fort Worth community
• Supervise team of art director, marketing manager, and graphic designer
• Other duties as assigned by general manager
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, public relations, communications, special events or non-profit management or equivalent work experience
SKILLS:
Ambitiously creative; excellent organizational, interpersonal, supervisory and communications skills; a reputation for accuracy, responsiveness, meticulous attention to detail and follow-up; highly organized and self-motivated; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, email marketing, Meta Ads, Google Ads, social media and web content platforms; ticketing system knowledge (Tessitura) preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Five or more years in marketing, public relations, communications, special events or related field with at least 2 years in management. Non-profit and/or performing arts experience preferred.
