Position Summary:
The Individual Giving Manager is a full-time, exempt, salaried position. The candidate will be expected to work at CSC’s office located at 41 East 11th Street and CSC’s theater at 136 East 13th Street. CSC has a hybrid work schedule from Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM, with occasional evenings and weekends. The in-office expectations are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 AM to 6 PM, with additional times dependent on events.
This role will manage, administer, and fulfill all cycles of individual giving, focusing on the Patron Program, which includes a donor portfolio of those who contribute $1,000 to $10,000. This position is a key member of a highly professional, fast-paced, small team with increasing revenue goals. It reports directly to the Director of Advancement and also collaborates closely with the Producing Artistic Director.

Portfolio Management & Fundraising
Manage a portfolio and serve as a front facing officer for qualified individual annual giving prospects, executing tailored cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans.
Work as part of a team to raise $2M+ annually through outright gifts.
Assist team with pipeline, cultivation, and stewardship of capitalization campaign donors to raise approximately $3m+ in next two fiscal years.
Analyze donor capacity and affinity to prioritize opportunities for upgraded giving.
Donor Strategy, Stewardship & Cultivation
Design engagement strategies for prospect pool, including private events and compelling communications.
Collaborate with executive leadership to identify new major gift prospects and pipeline development.
Draft briefing materials for executive staff and volunteers.
Manage stewardship processes and create personalized acknowledgments and renewal communications to deepen donor loyalty.
Special Events
Serve as key team leader, committee liaison and vendor manager for annual gala, working to manage expenses and sales to raise a minimum of $500k
Plan and oversee season donor and fundraising events, including opening night receptions, Benefit Concerts or Readings, and other donor cultivation events.
Skills & Qualifications:
Significant experience in fundraising, customer service, or marketing, preferably for performing arts organization
Must have excellent interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work in a small team, be flexible, team orientated and self-motivated
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong donor research skills
Knowledge of donor CRMs and Microsoft Office (CSC uses the CRM Spektrix)
Familiarity with ticketing functions and software preferred
Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
