Administrator, Concord Chamber Music Society
Founded in 2000 by Wendy Putnam, Boston Symphony Orchestra violinist, the Concord Chamber Music Society (CCMS) has presented an annual series of outstanding chamber music ensembles and performers (including the Julliard and Takacs Quartets, Yefim Bronfman) in Concord, MA.
We are now seeking an enthusiastic music-loving half-time administrator to assume a vital role in ensuring our future success in offering the highest-quality concerts and expanding our role in community outreach, bringing music to a wide audience.
The successful candidate will support the CCMS Artistic Director, Board of Directors, subscribers, donors, sponsors, and performers in all administrative matters to assure smooth and efficient operations of CCMS in promoting and producing concerts and other community endeavors.
Responsibilities will include:

• Manage communications: telephone, email, US mail
• Manage ticket sales (subscriptions and individual concerts)
o AudienceView patron management system
o Maintain database of subscribers and individual sales
o Manage ticket table at concerts
• Manage donor support
o Record, deposit and acknowledge donations
o Maintain donor database in AudienceView
o Oversee donor recognition events
• Oversee concert promotion and artistic support
o Create press releases, calendar listings, publicity materials
o Work with venue for concert logistics
o Work with artists for logistics and support
• Support Board meetings
o Attend meetings
o Take and distribute minutes
• Maintain the CCMS (home) office
• Recruit and oversee volunteers
• Oversee publicity, marketing, advertising
o Manage social media content
o Solicit program ads
o Implement marketing initiatives
• Support outreach initiatives
o Community outreach<br
o Educational initiatives
• Manage state and federal filings
o Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC)
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred (but not required)
• Experience with non-profit organizations
• Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong skills in: organization, time-management, collaboration, oral and written communication, and project management
Position specifics
• FTE 0.5 (average 20 hours per week)
• Work-from-home office; on-site for concerts presented in Concord, MA
• Salary and benefits negotiable and competitive, commensurate with experience. Range for 0.5 FTE = $26,000-31,200
• Start date: September 1, 2022 (if possible)
