Marketing and Development Coordinator

Responsibilities Include:
• Lead the creation and distribution of patron marketing materials, including digital communications (social media, email, website content), traditional print communications, and maintenance/research related to the management of those systems.
• Collaborate with the Manager of Artistic Operations and GYSO in marketing and related to the Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra and other education programs.
• Assist with production of audio/video recordings and other video projects for use in pre/post concert projections and for digital distribution.
• Assist with development and marketing projects including donor research, marketing research, grants writing and support, and maintenance of email marketing and fundraising database systems
• Collaborate with external marketing and fundraising contractors including the grantwriters
• Create documentation of processes and administrative operations
• Lead development operations work, including the maintenance and entry into donor database systems and the donor thank you and acknowledgement process
• Assist in planning and executing an annual development, communications, and marketing calendar, and multiple giving campaigns and donor appreciation events throughout the season
• Create documentation of marketing and fundraising administrative processes
• Facilitate individual donor relationships, followups, and work.
• Specific fundraising campaigns and events.
o Fall, Winter, Spring, EOY campaigns
o Celebrity Luncheon support (lead by board)
o Fall 2023 planning for gala/Jazz Ball

• Demonstrates a history of successful project management
• Has exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to work collaboratively with partners, staff, and other major internal and external stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree or significant relevant experience preferred
• Nonprofit or arts management experience preferred but not required

Salary & Compensation

$45,300-$50,300 total compensation based on experience.
Compensation includes:
• 10 days paid time off (PTO) per year
• Up to $4,800 healthcare reimbursement benefit
• Up to $500 in Professional Development opportunities
