Job Title: Development Ticket Concierge

Department: Development

Reports to: Director of Corporate Relations

Status: Full-time, Non-exempt

 

Summary: This position is frontline, outward facing to the top-level donors of the Houston Symphony and is responsible for executing the ticketing and subscription needs of donors including in the Conductors Circle giving category; is the liaison with the Patron Service Center; and provides support for the gift entry and acknowledgment process. This position is a key member of the development team.

 

Essential Job Functions:

Conductors Circle Ticketing

Provides Conductors Circle ticketing services including purchases, exchanges, renewals, special offers, etc. to Conductors Circle donors. Focus on Conductors Circle and above ($5,000+) as well as select other constituencies including the Young Associates Council, and Legacy Society.
Manages Conductors Circle subscription renewal process for individual donors and corporations.
Communicates weekly with valet company and food service company for Jones Hall regarding expected donor attendance for the weekend.
Tracks and processes valet and Greenroom/donor lounge expenses.
Manages ticket requests for fulfilling sponsorships.
Other Duties

Collaborates with colleagues in other departments acts a liaison with Patron Services.
Regularly attends performances to provide VIP service to donors.
Provides weekly VIP reports to development team.
Works with marketing closely to keep VIP lists up to date for digital and snail mail communications reviews/proofs contact lists for accuracy.
Works with development team to support gift entry and acknowledgement process during peak giving cycles.
Perform additional duties as required by the Houston Symphony Society.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with Tessitura, preferably in conjunction with box office experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Experience with database, spreadsheet, and desktop publishing.
Professional, detail oriented, excellent time management skills.
Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
Creative, flexible, excellent communication skills.
Ability to work evenings and weekends, including some holidays.
