The Madison-Morgan Cultural Center is a non-profit, multi-disciplinary performing and visual arts facility. The Center occupies an elegantly restored 1895 Romanesque Revival building located in the heart of Madison, Georgia’s historic district.


The Programs Manager will support activities at the Cultural Center by supporting events including concerts, exhibits, fundraising events, openings and other gatherings. This position will assist with ticket sales, marketing, and grant writing as needed. The successful candidate will have broad experience in the non-profit sector, be flexible and friendly, and demonstrate a commitment to our mission and the arts.


· Assist with all programming carried out by MMCC including the organization and management of fundraising and membership events

· Oversee technical production, equipment needs, and other event logistics as assigned

· Recruit and organize volunteers for events and programs

· Participate on committees as assigned

· Work closely with Executive Director and other staff to identify and schedule both performing and visual arts at the Center and other venues

· Identify, cultivate, and carry out community outreach, business partnerships and educational programming in order to promote the mission of MMCC in the community

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of one year experience in non-profit arts organization or similar

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required as well as the ability to learn/use a ticketing/donor software platform.

Warm, professional interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with members, donors, volunteers, and the public. A positive attitude and the ability to creatively problem solve is key.

Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; excellent time-management, problem-prevention, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to handle confidential information.

Must be comfortable speaking on the telephone with constituents and members.
