Pittsburgh CLO is a not-for-profit cultural organization dedicated to the preservation, creation and promotion of the American musical theater art form, the furnishing of arts education and providing outreach and meaningful community service opportunities in Western Pennsylvania and throughout the United States. The Pittsburgh CLO, hailed as one of the nation’s premier regional theaters, is seeking a creative, detail-oriented individual to serve as its Graphics & Social Media Coordinator.

Pittsburgh CLO, a large not-for-profit performing arts organization, is seeking a Graphics & Social Media Coordinator. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will be an integral member of the Sales & Marketing Department. This individual will guide the visual and digital presence of Pittsburgh CLO, Pittsburgh CLO Academy of Musical Theater as well as the Development Department. This role will be responsible for creating compelling graphics, administering social media content, and engaging with our online community. This is a coordinator-level position, hourly, with the expectation of occasional evening and weekend work, including in-person presence at the theater as needed.

What you’ll do:

Digital Graphic Design & Project Coordination (50%)
– Develop digital graphics, including advertisements, social media graphics, email templates, website assets
– Handle design requests across departments, administering a variety of formats with attention to detail and deadlines
– Collaborate across departments, providing regular updates on project progress, ensuring alignment with organizational goals

Social Media Content Creation & Management (30%)
– Assist Marketing Manager in planning, creation of, and scheduling content across all Pittsburgh CLO’s social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn
– Monitor social media interactions, respond to comments, and direct messages, and actively engage with followers to build a strong online community
– Contribute to brainstorming and idea sessions, assisting in the development and execution of creative campaigns and content strategies
– Capture content and assets at on-site and off-site events

Analytics & Reporting (15%)
– Monitor and analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and content strategies
– Prepare monthly reports on engagement, follower growth, and overall social media performance for review by the Marketing team

Photography & Archival Process: (5%)
– Support photoshoots and manage the photography archival process, organizing and maintaining a comprehensive library of creative assets
– Maintain and manage an archival system for Pittsburgh CLO’s marketing materials, ensuring accurate and organized records of all content

Other:
– Ensure city, community, and state visitor calendars are updated with CLO events and shows
– Assist with coverage in the lobby at scheduled performances for merchandise booth oversight, lobby experiences, and volunteer coordination
– Other duties as assigned to advance the mission of CLO

What you’ll need:
– Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience
– 2+ years’ proven experience in graphic design and social media management, preferably in a non-profit or arts organization
– Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Meta, as well as Canva is required and strong familiarity with social media scheduling tools
– Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive approach to project coordination and problem-solving
– Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapt to shifting priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
– Availability to work weekends, evenings and holidays as required
– A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required
– Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
– Engaged in and inspired by Musical Theater
– This position requires on-site work both in the CLO Administrative offices, various off-site CLO locations, as well as some remote work
