The San Francisco Conservatory of Music seeks a highly organized and engaged Concert Operations Manager to manage the front of-house, box office and event listings operations required to ensure successful performances and events that take place in SFCM’s facilities, including its performance venues. Reporting to the Director of Concert Operations and overseeing a team of student Box Office/Reception Assistants, the position will oversee front-of-house and box office operations, including the ticketing system platform, Spektrix, as well as ensure that all SFCM events are published correctly on the website’s Performance Calendar and constantly updated. The Concert Operations Manager will also serve as an user of the school’s scheduling system, EMS, and will be able to report data on usage of various spaces on campus. The position will require some irregular hours including weeknights and weekends, due to event times.
•Manage Box Office operations with a staff of student workers, including the ticketing process and system, and merchandise sales
•Supervise front-of-house operations for all events and in coordination with the Production department and staff
•Oversee SFCM Performance Calendar event listings on the website to ensure all information is accurate and updated in a timely manner and in coordination with the Assistant Director of Artistic Operations, as well as with faculty and department chairs and directors
•Assist the Director of Concert Operations with all internal and external event scheduling in coordination with the Box Office and Scheduling Coordinator, monitor and fulfill scheduling requests sent to the Bookings Office
•Assist with managing production logistics of all internal and external events with the Production Department
•Hire, train, schedule, and supervise Box Office student workers
•Maintain SFCM interdepartmental performance and staffing calendars and spreadsheets
•Work with Box Office and Scheduling Coordinator to create and format accurate and consistent programs for all events
•Oversee ticketing system in developing reports and processes, creating and maintaining ticketed events and managing integrated email campaigns to notify audiences of event updates. Also serve as primary liaison with third party ticket sales affiliate, Spektrix
•Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

Superior attention to detail
Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects at any one time
Ability to identify and implement process improvements
Experience with scheduling and/or CRM systems is a plus
Ability to train student workers to deliver outstanding customer service
Background in the performing arts required
Bachelors Degree preferred

Salary Description
$60,000 to $68,000/ Year DOE
