Transformational training for music educators
TATI’s Program Manager will work closely with the Managing Director to guide TATI into its next
phase of programming. The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing the
operational and logistical aspects of TATI’s programs and events. This role ensures the smooth
execution of program activities, supports participants and faculty, and coordinates with various
stakeholders to maintain the high standards of TATI’s offerings. The ideal candidate is an independent,
self-starter who is organized, detail-oriented, creative, and forward-thinking. They must be able to
adapt to dynamic work environments while maintaining professionalism and integrity.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Virtual Programs:
● Oversee the twice-annual nomination and application process for the Cohort program,
coordinating important dates, advertising needs, and application requirements with the Managing
Director and Applications Committee.
● Maintain consistent, transparent communication with cohort members, track attendance, and
follow up as needed; maintain the Program Calendar and communicate any changes to TATI
participants and faculty.
● Facilitate all virtual workshop sessions and communicate with Lab faculty to ensure materials are
up-to-date; assist faculty members with technology and meeting needs.
● Distribute session recordings and materials, updating the Cohort website for members.
● Conduct quarterly meetings with Cohort member supervisors, in concert with the Managing
Director.
● Ensure Discussion Leaders and Leaders in Training have all necessary information for successful
sessions each month, maintaining open communication lines with TATI’s Curriculum and
Learning Specialist.
● Work with Managing Director and Curriculum Learning Specialist to develop system for
asynchronous learning modules; maintain collection of content and participant licenses.
In-Person Events:
● Plan and execute five Regional Practicums each year in tandem with the Managing Director and
Curriculum and Learning Specialist, managing registrations and promoting events.
● Oversee travel fellowships program for participants, including applications, selection, and
distribution of funds.
● Manage event registrations and promotions, in conjunction with Marketing Team.
● Provide customer support during registration processes for all programs, respond to questions and
provide necessary technical support.
● In charge of all the logistics related to each event, including but not limited to booking travel and
accommodations for all faculty and participants, meals orders/catering, set up event needs with
each host, and order all supplies.
Additional Responsibilities:
● Maintain program supply inventory, including TATI swag and conference supplies, and replenish
as needed; oversee distribution of marketing and program supplies for events and programs.
● Maintain accurate records of programs-related purchases, receipts, and expenses, and maintain
program budgets with fiscal responsibility, in tandem with the Managing Director.
● Plan special events each year in collaboration with the Managing Director, including researching
event locations, booking catering and entertainment, and supporting the marketing team with
advertising.
● Maintain the TATI media asset library as new media is collected throughout the year;
communicate updates and program information to the marketing team.
● Provide digital content and copy to TATI’s Marketing Agency as needed throughout the year.
● Assist with all program evaluations, supporting data collection and reporting.
● Perform other related duties as assigned or as necessary.
● Remain flexible and adaptable in work schedules as defined by TATI needs, including travel to
multiple events each year.
● Represent TATI in a manner that conveys professionalism, confidentiality, courtesy, fairness,
personal integrity, and respect for others.

● Proficient with laptops, cell phones, Airtable, Google Drive, MS Office (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint), and quick to learn new technologies and platforms with minimal guidance;
● At least 2 years of experience in leading teams and managing projects and events. Experience
in program management within non-profit or music education settings is highly preferred;
● Fluency in English required; Spanish proficiency is beneficial.
