Editor, Digital Magazine (Limited Term, Contract)

The Black Ordinary (TBO) is a multimedia publication, online resource hub, and national database of community archives dedicated to preserving Black-American history and culture. TBO is hiring a part-time Guest Editor (limited term contract) to assist with the publication of a digital magazine.

Title: Guest Editor, Issue #1
Position: Part-Time, Limited-Term Contract
Hours: 5-10 hrs per week
Contract Dates: June 2025 – October 2025 (Exact dates to be determined upon hire.)
Honorarium: $1,000 (50% paid upon contract start date, 50% paid upon magazine publication in September/October 2025. Alternative payment schedules are negotiable.)
