The Glimmerglass Festival seeks a Production Administrator for its 2022 Festival Season.

The Production Administrator works as a member of a nine-person Production Administration team; they report to the Production Coordinator, and they work alongside a Costume Administrator, a Costume Administration Apprentice, a Production Administrator Apprentice, and the Safety Department. The primary goals of the position include facilitating Production department accounting and reconciling all purchases/shipping/returns, distributing information to the Production Shops, facilitating independent contractor travel/lodging arrangements and shipping between the contractors and the Production shop, facilitates designer and assistant designer travel, purchasing and distribution of Production Shop supplies, works as the Office Manager for the Production building, assists in the organization of Shop Party, and facilitates and organizes key and radio distribution. The ability to drive with a clean license, a working knowledge of computers and word/excel, some understanding of Production shop terminology, and experience in administrative organization are desired. Projects will primarily be worked on independently with the direction of the Production Coordinator and the Director of Production. The responsibilities of this position require the employee to be physically present on campus to complete the tasks assigned. Additional training, workshops, and seminars are provided during the season. This is a seasonal position; employees that work well within the team are often asked to return for subsequent seasons. Commitment to safe work habits and shop practices is essential. Must be willing to abide by Glimmerglass Festival’s current and potential future Covid-19 policies, including testing and wearing a mask on campus.
