Location: Los Angeles, CA (in-person preferred, hybrid considered)
Part-Time: 20–25 hours/week
Pay: $22–$25/hour

The prestigious non-profit organization The Groundlings Theatre & School seeks a creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized part-time Marketing Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the General Manager, this role supports the execution of marketing campaigns that promote our shows, classes, and brand. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in arts marketing and work in a fun, collaborative, and fast-paced environment surrounded by comedians, creatives and comedy lovers.

Responsibilities

Assist in the development and scheduling of content across social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).
Support weekly email marketing campaigns, including compiling content and editing in Wordfly Compile content for weekly email marketing campaigns and edit in Wordfly
Update and maintain show and class listings across websites and calendars.
Help set up and run Google and Meta Ads – Setup and run Google and Meta Ads
Coordinate and track marketing deliverables for shows and events (graphic assets, video promos, press releases)
Monitor engagement and performance metrics across digital platforms and prepare reports for senior leadership.
Support grassroots and community outreach efforts to promote new shows and class offerings.
Assist with organizing digital archives, photo assets, and promotional materials.
Assist with on-site content capture or special event support.
Qualifications

1–2 years of marketing, communications, or social media experience (internships count!)
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a good comedic or conversational tone
Working knowledge of social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and tools like Canva, Later, or similar
Knowledge of SEO and Google & Meta Ads
Basic graphic design or video editing experience is a plus
Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp preferred)
Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks
Passion for live theatre, comedy, or arts organizations a plus.
